Can I request an NDA before sharing vessel details?
Yes. Use our short NDA Request form. You’ll receive a countersignable NC/NDA (Google Doc + PDF) by email. We can support e-signature (DocuSign/Dropbox Sign) or manual PDF signing.
What’s the turnaround time and pricing?
Choose your tier and SLA on the intake form:
Basic (USD 50), Secondary (USD 100), Comprehensive (USD 200).
SLAs: 24h (standard), 12h (+50% surcharge), 6h (+100% surcharge). If delays are on our side, surcharges are waived/refunded.
How accurate is the valuation?
It’s an indicative market opinion based on your inputs, comparable sales, and market context. Accuracy improves with complete data (IMO, class status, SS/DD timing, equipment, charter terms, condition signals). Reports include a disclosure if information is limited.
How do I pay?
We accept Wise payment links. A secure payment button is included in the intake confirmation email. Please include your Order ID in the payment reference.
How is my data handled?
We treat submissions confidentially and only for valuation/brokerage diligence. See our Confidentiality Policy and Privacy Notice. We may perform proportionate KYC/KYB checks; see our KYC Disclaimer.
What information should I prepare?
At minimum: Contact/company, valuation purpose/date, IMO or full specs (segment/size/year/yard), SS/DD dates, BWTS/scrubber, ME type, charter status, condition signals, trading location. Attach links to Q88/Form C/class status/photos if available.

About Our Ship Valuation Methodology

Each ship valuation prepared by Red Dot Marine is grounded in recent market comparables within ±10% size and ±2–3 years of the subject vessel’s age. We apply transparent normalizations for survey status (SS/DD), eco design and propulsion efficiency, equipment (BWTS/scrubber/ice class), yard/build quality, charter attachments, and condition signals (PSC/deficiencies/inspection notes). The output is an indicative, defensible market opinion with value range, assumptions, and confidence grading — suitable for S&P benchmarking, financing discussions, internal review, and scrap decisions.
